Corinthian Cruise Ship Poole

Port of Poole welcomes its first cruise ship of the season

MV Corinthian becomes the first cruise ship to visit the port since the pandemic

The vessel, with a capacity of 1200 passengers, docked at the port on Saturday, bringing passengers to the town.

The ship is operated by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and was carrying British passengers who had booked a seven-night cruise to the Norwegian Fjords.

The arrival of the MV Corinthian is a significant moment for the Port of Poole, as it marks the return of cruise ships to the port for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

The port has been working hard to prepare for the return of cruise ships, and has implemented a number of new measures to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

These measures include increased cleaning and disinfection, the use of face masks, and social distancing measures.

The arrival of the MV Corinthian is a welcome boost for the local economy, as it is expected to bring in thousands of visitors to the town.
